Shannon Flammond

I’m nominating my sister Shannon. Many people may already know her because she has made it her goal to help teens and I mean any teens. On December 12 2010 she lost her son Forrest to suicide. It was not something anyone saw coming. Her boys were and are still her life. She has managed to keep pushing through and surviving for her family. She has made it her own personal goal to be her sons voice and help others kids in crisis. Simply because she loves kids and does not want another mother to go through what she has gone through. She is also the woman I trust to watch my lil girl and my daughter is so blessed for this. These two have so much fun together. She also helps take care of our father everyday who suffers from Parkinson’s. She does this all with a smile and love because family is her life! Thank you for your consideration. Angie Madaus Young
