Mary is devoted, caring and honest. She is a wonderful wife of 34 years to her husband, Mike, and a doting mother to her 4 grown children, Kris, Kim (Matt), John (Andrea) and Karissa. She holds a special place in her heart for her two grandsons, Hunter and Connor, and her granddaughter, Anna.

After many years as a stay-at-home mom, Mary opened a letter from a pharmaceutical company asking Dr. Lillestol to participate in a clinical research trial on Osteoporosis. Mary, an RN by trade, asked her husband if he would consider doing the trial and having her manage it as the coordinator with her nursing background. Mike agreed and after many years of doing clinical research, Mary established and founded Lillestol Research in 2004. Mary is an entrepreneur and has served as the CFO of the company since that time. She has expanded and established a successful business in our community through tough economic times. Lillestol Research was proud to be named the FM Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year in 2010. Mary has established a work place that is family focused and oriented, a fun place to be for staff members and patients alike. She is also proud that the company employs 3 of her 4 children and her daughter-in-law. She loves seeing all of her children every day.

Mary is the person you can always turn to when you are having a bad day for support and encouragement. She is kind-hearted, loving and sweet. She is the type of mother everyone wishes they had and the type of nana that would have a fully functional nursery in her house. Everyone who meets her finds her to be absolutely charming. She is definitely a beautiful woman, inside and out.
